Among the many advantages of the Direct Energy Centre, Canada's most advanced trade show facility and the home of Sign World, is that it's within walking distance of Toronto Island Airport (Billy Bishop Airport). The airport is the home base of popular Porter Airlines, and is also served by Air Canada.

Official regional carrier Porter Airlines flies the super-comfy Q400 to Toronto Island Airport

While we know most Print World attendees will take the short five-minute cab ride from the airport to the doors of the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place in downtown Toronto, we have heard stories of visitors walking from the airport. It's a pleasant stroll through the Harbourfront neighbourhood and Coronation Park on the waterfront.
Dubbed "one of the coolest airports in the world" by Peter Greenberg of CBS Today, Toronto Island Airport is served by Porter's super-comfortable Q400 aircraft, with frequent flights to and from:
- Montreal
- Ottawa
- New York (Newark)
- Boston (Logan)
- Chicago (Midway)
- Washington D.C. (Dulles)
- Quebec City
- Halifax
- Windsor
- Thunder Bay
- St. John's
- Sudbury
- Sault Ste. Marie
- Timmins
As the New York Daily News wrote: "Porter Airlines flies sleek Dash-8 prop planes from Newark Liberty International Airport to downtown Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport. Imagine landing at Battery Park City instead of JFK and you’ll understand why the upstart airline’s been a huge hit."
Sign World is a special market focus of Print World. Porter is Print World's official air carrier.
Air Canada also flies between Toronto and Ottawa out of Toronto Island Airport, and of course the Direct Energy Centre is only a 25-minute drive from
Pearson International Airport, Toronto's main air hub served by all major Canadian, U.S. and international airlines.
Print World's downtown location makes it close to all major cultural and entertainment attractions. Print World's official hotel, the
Hyatt Regency, is located on King St. West in the heart of Toronto's entertainment district, perfect for dining with clients and prospects. The new Bell TIFF Lightbox, home of the Toronto International Film Festival, is across the street.
