Exhibitors at the recent Print World trade show and conference in Toronto reported strong sales, with at least one reporting it was its "best show ever."

That comment was from PDS Pressdown, while Sydney Stone also placed several "sold" signs on its equipment. Therm-O-Type, Deposit Photos, Docuplex Printing, Technifold, International Binding & Laminating Systems, EFI Proofing Solutions and TAS Films were just some of the many others reporting success at the show.

Pitney Bowes is returning to Print World in Toronto with its biggest booth ever this year.

Pitney Bowes, which produces postage meters, scales and production mail systems, is returning to Print World in a big way. During the show, the company will be exhibiting the FlowMaster RS Flex inserter, which can process up to 16,000 pieces of mail per hour. The RS Flex system also processes a wide range of materials and sizes.

Among the many innovations visitors will see at Postal World is Kodak's new award-winning Nexpress Red Fluorescing Dry Ink Solution, which helps printers provide increased security and fraud protection on direct mail, documents, packaging, and promotional materials.


This innovative ink is clear when printed on top of images and graphics, and is virtually invisible. When it is illuminated with an ultraviolet light source, however, it fluoresces a red colour. The intensity of the red can be controlled by the amount of Red Fluorescing Dry Ink that is printed on the page.

Postal World 2012 will host the Postal Forum of the National Association of Major Mail Users. NAMMU is securing top speakers for panels and keynotes, including Mr. Jacques Côté, Group President, Physical Delivery Network, Canada Post.

Print World Trade Show and Conference has announced two keynote addresses and two special presentations for its 2012 session on November 17-19.
