Exhibitors at the recent Print World trade show and conference in Toronto reported strong sales, with at least one reporting it was its "best show ever."

That comment was from PDS Pressdown, while Sydney Stone also placed several "sold" signs on its equipment. Therm-O-Type, Deposit Photos, Docuplex Printing, Technifold, International Binding & Laminating Systems, EFI Proofing Solutions and TAS Films were just some of the many others reporting success at the show.

Among the many innovations visitors will see at Packaging & Label World is Kodak's new award-winning Nexpress Red Fluorescing Dry Ink Solution, which helps printers provide increased security and fraud protection on packaging, direct mail, documents and promotional materials.



This innovative ink is clear when printed on top of images and graphics, and is virtually invisible. When it is illuminated with an ultraviolet light source, however, it fluoresces a red colour. The intensity of the red can be controlled by the amount of Red Fluorescing Dry Ink that is printed on the page.
