Print World exhibitors increase space for 2012 show
Based on their successes at Print World 2010 last November, several leading exhibitors have signed for the 2012 edition of Print World with expanded booth sizes.

KBR Graphics (KBA, MGI, Petratto, Standard Horizon), Sydney Stone (Duplo, Morgana) and 3deltaE (EFI, Glunz & Jensen, Mutoh) are among those who have signed for 2012, and these three have increased their exhibit space.

"This was our eighth Print World participation and our best show," said Karl Belafi Sr., president of KBR Graphics following Print World 2010. "KBR signed the most orders ever at any trade show. Print World is the perfect Canadian stage for the digital and traditional print market."

Based in Montreal and Mississauga, Ont., KBR sells KBA offset presses, MGI digital presses and Standard Horizon, Perfecta and Petratto finishing equipment. The company plans to more than double the size of its 1,000 sq. ft. booth in 2010 to 2,400 sq. ft. in 2012.

Finishing equipment dealer Sydney Stone is also expanding its booth for 2012. “The 2010 show was fantastic for us. It was the most we’ve ever sold off the show floor in signed orders,” said Michael Steele, partner and sales director at Sydney Stone in Toronto. “The show was very well attended with very good quality leads. We’re still closing deals as we speak.”

Sydney Stone will be expanding its booth by 25% in 2012 to 1,500 sq. ft. The company distributes a wide range of finishing products for digital and offset print including Duplo and Morgana machines.

Similarly, 3deltaE, the growing company that distributes EFI, Mutoh and Glunz & Jensen products is expanding its presence at Print World 2012 following a successful show in 2010.

“I have had a call from one of my colleagues in the USA asking about the show. He had two emails from our booth participants telling him that it was a ‘great show’," noted John Mitchell, president of Toronto-based 3deltaE. "He commented that he was on your distribution list and thought the quality and quantity of marketing for Print World far outweighed anything he has seen from any of the shows in the USA including Graph Expo and GOA. Thanks for all the hard work.”

Print World 2012: The World of Shorter-Run Printing takes place Nov. 17-19, 2012 at the Direct Energy Centre in downtown Toronto, Canada. The show is held every two years and is the largest show in North America aimed at the short-run market.
