TORONTO—Print World Trade Show and Conference is pleased to announce that it will host the first-ever Dscoop (Digital Solutions Cooperative) meeting in Canada during the biennial event on November 17-19, 2012.
“We are pleased to host a group as dynamic as Dscoop at Print World. The event and its members will add a new dimension to our show and help expand the Dscoop brand in Canada,” says Sandy Donald, manager of Print World.
“We are very excited to offer our Canadian members an opportunity to connect, share best practices and attend educational sessions at Print World,” adds Eric Hawkinson, global executive director of Dscoop. “As Dscoop continues to grow, we recognize the importance of offering more local events that bring the community together and increase the potential for business partnerships between members.”
Founded in 2005, Dscoop is an independent global community of graphic arts business owners and technical professionals who use HP Indigo and Scitex equipment and related solutions. Dscoop is focused on educating and connecting its members with each other and with HP to improve members’ business growth, efficiency and profitability.
Dscoop has a presence in North America; Asia-Pacific; Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Its last annual conference in Washington, D.C., earlier this year attracted more than 2,000 attendees.
Dscoop will hold a half-day conference. Stay tuned for more details about the conference as well as how to register. For more information, please visit

Print World Trade Show and Conference takes place in downtown Toronto on November 17-19, 2012, at the state-of-the-art Direct Energy Centre. Toronto is Canada’s largest metropolitan area (5 million+) and the heart of the Canadian printing market. It boasts more printers per capita than anywhere else in North America. Toronto is also an international city, with an exciting multicultural heritage and a vibrant and safe downtown.
Toronto is a 90-minute drive from the U.S.-Canada border and Toronto Pearson International Airport features direct flights to all major U.S. cities. In addition,
Porter Airlines, the official carrier for Print World, operates direct flights between downtown Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport and major centres in the Northeastern U.S. (Boston, New York, Washington), and Chicago. Print World is a 3-minute cab ride away from Billy Bishop Airport, so it’s possible to do the show in one day.
